Welk Resort Hosts Boogie-Woogie Antics with ‘Andrews Brothers’

The Andrews Sisters – correction, make that The Andrews Brothers – take to the stage at the Welk Resorts Theatre, opening Sept. 3 and running through Nov. 8.

The show is set in the South Pacific during WWII, with GIs anxiously awaiting the USO show. On the bill are the Andrews Sisters and a pin-up girl a la Betty Grable. Trouble ensues when the ladies are forced to cancel their appearance at the last minute … that is, until a trio of backstage buffoons – all guys – save the day!

Be prepared for plenty of Lucille Ball shenanigans, some boogie-woogie antics and goofy hi-jinks! Starring the San Diego favorites Larry Raben, David Engel, Stan Chandler, Bets Malone and John Bisom (in designated performances) this show is sure to “Ac-cen-tchu-ate the positive.”
