“The Nightman Cometh”… to a Town Near You.
That’s right ladies and gentlemen, the Dayman, fighter of the Nightman, champion of the sun,the master of karate and friendship to everyone is going on tour. Charlie, Dennis, Mac, Dee, and Frank performing the season 5 musical “The Nightman Cometh” live as close to San Diego as the Palladium in L.A.
If you’ve never seen It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, it is more than worth checking out… if you aren’t easily affended. “The Nightman Cometh” is an enthralling tale of love, man-rape, and the coming of age, that was a play drawn by the show’s illiterate main character, Charlie, and was adapted to words by Artemis, one of the many hillarious recurring characters on the show. You can see a few older episodes on hulu.com and season 5 premieres this Thursday on the FX Network at 10pm. For the millions of people that are already fans of “the gang,” you know what a treat this is. However, this won’t be the first time that the cast of Sunny will be performing on stage. The cast did two, quickly sold-out shows at the Troubadour that went over with great success. So the next rational step is to take the show on the road.
Along with performing “The Nightman Cometh”, the Entertainer has heard rumors that they will also be performing a number of skits during the show. Again, just rumors…
