Justin Bieber Cancels Tour Dates
First Adele, and now Justin Bieber is cancelling the rest of his tour. These artists have been giving it their all and straining themselves for their fans. Bieber has been on his tour, ‘Purpose,’ for two years now and just officially cancelled his remaining tour dates due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
During Bieber’s tour he performed nearly 150 shows to promote his record called ‘Purpose.’ This has taken a huge toll on the popular singer, but fans who have been looking forward to his concert are taking to social media to express their dismay. One fan tweeted, “Justin Bieber just cancelled the rest of his world tour ask me how many tears are coming out of my eye sockets right now.”
However, other popular artists, like John Mayor, expressed their understanding and acceptance of Bieber’s decision.
“When someone pulls remaining dates of a tour, it means they would have done real damage to themselves if they kept going,” Mayor said. “We’ve lost so many great artists lately. I give Justin [a thumbs up] for realizing it was time to call it. You should too.”
Just last week, Bieber was banned from all shows in China, due to “bad behaviors.” In fact, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture said, “His series of misbehaviors while living abroad and during his performances in China has caused public resentment.”
Bieber sent a message to his fans and said, “I love you guys,” he said. “I think you guys are awesome. Sorry for anybody who feels disappointed or betrayed. It’s not my heart or anything.”
Though his apology seems sincere, it is unfortunate that Bieber has cancelled. Regardless, we know he will be back soon and it seems like he is in need of a necessary break.
