AC/DC is back and ready to rock the San Diego Sports Arena
That’s right!Your favorite heavy metal all-stars AC/DC return to sunny San Diego on Sunday, September 6th, in what might be their last live performance together EVER. Brian Johnson and the gang set this rock fire ablaze last year in 2008 in their first full tour since 2001, that’s 8 years!
With 150 million copies sold world-wide, their platinum record Black Ice debuted at #1 and has been utilized in the popular new Rock Band video games. They head to San Diego from their show at the Seattle Tacoma Dome where fans report that they got a sneak peak at guitarist Angus Young’s underpants as half way through the set the 54 year old wild child dropped trou to reveal glitzy AC/DC boxers to the screaming crowd. Along with many other crazy antics, fans say it is a set no-one will soon forget.
The show will include three hours of the bands most infamous anthems including “Thunderstruck,” “TNT,” and “You Shook Me All Night Long,” along with new hits from their best selling record such as “The Jack” and “Black Ice.”
Tickets have been on sale since April, so they are hard to come by, but still out there and range from prices as low as $95 to as high as $2000. If you can’t make it to the San Diego Sports Arena this Sunday for the show of a lifetime, you’re in luck! Just 3 days later on Wednesday September 9th, the Rock legends will be making their next stop at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA, just 2 hours away. Tickets are still available on Ticketmaster, so get them while they last.
